Mr. Bonner is an experienced legal educator and speaker. He frequently lectures on topics related to Federal Constitutional Law and has developed and presented Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses for institutions including Neumann University and The Wynnewood Institute. In addition to CLE instruction, he teaches legal subjects to non-lawyers in a variety of community settings such as churches, schools, non-profit fundraisers, and conferences.
His professional affiliations include membership in the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Delaware County Bar Association, The Federalist Society, and the Christian Legal Society. As an affiliate attorney for the Alliance Defense Fund in Phoenix, Arizona, Mr. Bonner provides legal counsel and representation to religious non-profits and individuals, having litigated a wide range of First Amendment religious speech cases in federal courts.
In his earlier advocacy efforts, Mr. Bonner co-founded the National Education Consortium, a non-profit dedicated to protecting student privacy rights. He also co-founded The Rutherford Institute of Pennsylvania and served as Northeastern Regional Director of The Rutherford Institute International, advancing civil liberties through litigation and public education.
Mr. Bonner’s long-standing commitment to community and faith-based initiatives is evident in his past service as Chairman of the Delaware County Leadership Breakfast for over 20 years. He has also served on the Metropolitan Philadelphia Board of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the board of the Booth Maternity Hospital operated by The Salvation Army.
